LHU signs cooperation agreements with 3 high schools in Phu Yen province

To mark an important strategic step for local educational development, LHU on March 11, 2023 officially signed educational cooperation agreements with three famous high schools in Phu Yen province including Le Hong Phong High School, Pham Van Dong High School and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School.

The delegation of LHU was led by Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector along with Dr. Nguyen Van Trung - Director of Center of Admissions and Public Relations; Dr. Cao Van Du - Vice Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy and MSc. Le Phu Dong - Vice Dean of Faculty of Food Science and Technology and Admissions staff.

The cooperation agreements emphasize a rich, diverse and positive learning environment for teachers and students, from sharing resources, knowledge, supporting tuition fee exemptions to building quality learning programs suitable for society's practical needs.

Accordingly, the agreements include some highlights:

- Exchange of knowledge and experience: LHU will share professional knowledge, effective teaching methods and advanced educational technologies with twinned high schools. This will help enhance high school teachers' teaching capacity and improve the quality of high school education.

- Support for research and development: LHU is committed to supporting teachers and students of twinned high schools in implementing scientific research projects and technical competitions. This contributes to promoting creativity and research spirit among the teacher and student community.

- Organization of joint programs: LHU together with its twinned high schools will design and implement joint study programs, tours, and trial lessons, helping students to access and gain a deeper understanding of the academic fields and professions being trained at LHU.

- Easy transition to higher education: Owning a multidisciplinary and multi-level training system, LHU creates favorable conditions for students, officers and teachers of twinned high schools to transfer to higher education levels at LHU with tuition fee incentives of up to 30%.

Mr. Tran Cong Toan - Vice Principal of Le Hong Phong High School said "We are very honored and happy to sign the cooperation agreement with LHU. Before this event, we had 2 visits, exploring the facilities, learning conditions and accommodation for students when studying away from home. In fact, many of our former students get stable jobs after graduating from LHU, and lots of them become successful and talented when they return to their hometown of Phu Yen. We believe this cooperation will bring many new opportunities for both sides and contribute to improving the local education quality."
