    Brilliant Success at the Final of the “Foreign Trade Talent” Contest 2024

    Not only attracting students from the Foreign Trade major, the contest also brought many useful knowledge and experiences to Business Administration students.

    With the aim of creating an environment for students to demonstrate their knowledge and professional competence in the fields of import-export and logistics, the Faculty of Quản trị – Kinh tế Quốc tế (Administration – International Economics) organized the “Foreign Trade Talent” contest. The contest attracted 85 participating students, divided into two rounds:

    • Preliminary Round – Students answered 25 multiple-choice questions to select 04 teams (16 students) to advance to the next round.

    • Final Round – Public speaking and Situational Q&A.

      Composition of the Judging Panel of the Contest
    • On 16 April 2024, the Final round of the contest took place in an extremely vibrant and competitive atmosphere to select the most outstanding contestants. The competing teams brought creative ideas and top professional knowledge, creating an exciting and engaging contest. The event was honored to have the following members on the judging panel, who are leading professionals in their fields:

    1. Mr. TS. Nguyen Van Tan – Head of Faculty of Administration – International Economics, Chair of the Judging Panel;

    2. Mr. Nguyen Minh Giang – Deputy Director of Donafarm JSC, Member of the Judging Panel;

    3. Mr. Nguyen Tran Quoc Anh – Deputy Director of Dong A Trading & Services Co., Ltd., Member of the Judging Panel;

    4. Mr. Nguyen Hung Vy – Director of Import-Export at Tessellation Co., Ltd., Member of the Judging Panel.

    In the Final round, the four teams presented speeches on the following topics:

    • Team “The Boat” with the topic “Solutions to ensure Vietnamese Coconut Exports to China via official channels”.

    • Team “Green Smile” with the topic “Solutions to build a green logistics system to reduce carbon emissions for exporting textiles at Dong Tien Fashion Joint Stock Company”.

    • Team “NB1” with the topic “Application of robotics in warehouse management at Cat Lai Port”.

    • Team “The Star” with the topic “Developing an online retail chain of Dr.G Korean cosmetic products for Vietnamese youth”.

    The judges provided feedback on the content of each team’s presentation and selected the two best teams to compete for the first and second prizes through both their speeches and discussions with the panel. After tense and exciting moments from the contestants and the judges’ fair, objective evaluations, the Organizing Committee selected the following outstanding teams of the contest:

    Team “The Boat” excellently won the championship title of the contest.

    Team “The Boat” was excellently awarded the champion title of the contest. The members included:

    • Lam Kim Ngan – Class 21NT111

    • Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi – Class 21NT111

    • Nguyen Huynh Hoang Giang – Class 22QT111

    • Nguyen Ngoc Thao Uyen – Class 22QT111

    Team The Boat demonstrated creativity and tireless effort during research and presentation, becoming the Foreign Trade Talent. The team received a VND 2,000,000 prize, a certificate of merit, and gifts from sponsors.

    Team “Green Smile” achieved second place overall.

    Their dedication and talent impressed the Judging Panel. The team received a VND 1,500,000 prize, a certificate of merit, and gifts from sponsors.

    Third place was jointly awarded to Teams “The Star” and “NB1”.

    Tied for third place were Team “The Star” and Team “NB1”.

    Both teams showed great effort and potential. Each team received a VND 800,000 prize, a certificate of merit, and gifts from sponsors.
