FAIE Faculty Leadership Team Receives Encouragement Award in the 2023 Initiative and Innovation Program

Recently, the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology organized the “Science and Technology Festival” and presented awards for the competitions in 2023. At the festival, the award ceremonies were held for the science and technology competitions of Dong Nai in 2023, including the initiative and innovation in labor and learning program, which received nearly 410 submitted solutions, and the Dong Nai science and technology communication product awards with more than 300 entries.The agricultural competition for outstanding application of scientific and technical advancements in agricultural production featured 36 solutions and projects from participating farmers. The intellectual property law contest in Dong Nai province attracted nearly 7,500 participants. The competition for outstanding teachers applying information technology in teaching drew over 1,000 contestants. These contests strongly promoted the creative labor spirit of all segments of the local population, effectively disseminated technical solutions into production and daily life, and contributed to the socioeconomic development of Dong Nai.

In particular, at the festival, PhD. Nguyen Van Tan – Head of the Faculty of Administration International Economics, and MB Ta Thi Thanh Huong – Deputy Head of the Faculty of International Business Administration and Economics, were honored with the Encouragement Award for their solution “Developing a 3T model for practical activities of students at The Faculty of Administration and International Economics, Lac Hong University.” During its implementation, this solution has brought significant benefits to students in gaining practical experience and participating in real-world activities. The solution helps students gain an overall perspective and understand the connection between knowledge learned at the university and practical issues in enterprises.

As a result of the annual science and technology movement and contests, many solutions, initiatives, and technical improvements have been selected to participate in and achieve high awards at national science and technology competitions. Organizing these science and technology contests has truly honored and fostered a deep-rooted spirit of scientific and technological contribution among all segments of the population in Dong Nai. Furthermore, Dong Nai province has policies and mechanisms to commission, attract, and encourage organizations, individuals, and especially leading scientists, institutes, and universities to participate in research projects, propose initiatives and technical improvements not only in science and technology but also in other fields such as administrative reform, tourism, and services, thereby attracting investment for sustainable development in the province
