Dormitory

The LHU Dormitory was established on July 11, 2005 following the Decision No. 375/QĐ-HCTC signed by the Rector. The dorm was officially operated on April 8, 2006.

 

1. Adviser the Rector in managing, organizing the Dormitory in accordance with the current regulation of the Ministry of Education and Training.

2. Take care of boarding students' eating, living and studying, through the organization, management and operation of the dorm, educate civilized lifestyles, communication and behaviors,... for students.

Responsibilities:

1. Make plans for revenue expenditures, source of funding including room fees, electricity, water, parking fees,... and submit them to the Rector for approval.

2. Monitor, maintain, repair repair facilities, upgrade infrastructure works and assisted living works.

3. Develop plans and measures to ensure the dorm's operating conditions and effective use of rooms, canteens and public facilities.

4. Make periodic financial settlement reports (through the Office of Fiance).

5. Develop, disseminate and guide the implementation of the regulations of the dormitory.

6. Coordinate with the Health Division to organize health care and disease prevention in the dorm.

7. Closely coordinate with the local police, the police of Buu Long ward to ensure security, order and safety, facilities protection, protection of students' lives and property in the dorm.

14. Regularly maintain and check fire prevention and fighting facilities and equipment, provide boarding students with training sessions on fire prevention and fighting.

15. Regularly take care of environmental hygiene and trees in the dorm.

16. Coordinate with other units to carry out tasks assigned by the Rector, manage all aspects of the dorm.

17. Implement other tasks assigned by the Rector.

The Dormitory is located in the third campus of LHU. It is a five-storey building with an area of 4,000 m2 square meters, serving accommodations for 440 students, including 83 rooms and 7 functional departments. Rooms for boys and girls are separated. Each self-contained with the size of over 30 m2 accommodates three to six students. The room is furnished with air conditioners, fans, desks, chairs, personal lockers, beds, toilet, hot water, …. Offering students the best condition, inside the dormitory, there are many utility items such as gym, vending machine, laundry room, canteen, free drinking water system, free wifi, camera system,...
