LHU and On Semiconductor Vietnam Company sign a strategic cooperation agreement

On June 17 afternoon, LHU and On Semiconductor Vietnam Company Limited (OSV, Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on human resources training, scientific research, and establishing a scholarship fund to support students.

Accordingly, LHU and OSV will deepen their long-term cooperation in high-quality human resources training, scientific research, and technology transfer. Specifically, OSV will support LHU in building a high-quality engineering human resources training program, welcoming students for visits, internship, and recruitment.

In addition, both sides will promote joint scientific research, and provide tech solutions for teaching and production. OSV will coordinate with LHU to establish a scholarship fund to support students and its interns.

OSV, a large U.S business located in Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park specializes in manufacturing and providing semiconductor solutions with modern technology. Many former students majoring in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation, and Information Technology of LHU are currently working at OSV. Every year, the Company receives many students to study and work.

The collaboration established between LHU and OSV is expected to improve training quality as well as open up many learning, employment and scientific research opportunities for students.

The U.S delegation previously visiting and working with LHU

Previously, a U.S. delegation including the U.S Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs, the U.S Embassy in Hanoi, the U.S Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, the USAID along with U.S businesses in Dong Nai visited and worked with LHU. The U.S delegation asked LHU to collaborate in training and providing highly qualified technical human resources for OSV in Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park.
