[Upcoming] SWPEA2023

The 2023 Spring Workshop on Power Electronics and Applications (SWPEA2023) will be held on April 21 - 22, 2023, at LHU, Dong Nai, Viet Nam, which is co-organized by LHU, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Dong Nai University, the Korean Institute of Power Electronics – Vietnam Chapter and Vietnam Power Electronics Community. 

The aim of the workshop is to provide a scientific research forum in the development of power electronics and its related areas. Authors are encouraged to submit original and recent research papers in the following fields: Power conversion structure, modulation and control method; Electronic components, power and applications; Energy storage system, wireless power transmission; Smart grid and related issues; Electric drive system and control method; Renewable energy, new energy and hybrid energy system; Intelligent control system; Internet of Things (IoT); Robots and automation systems in industry.

 SWPEA2023 will be held on April 21 - 22, 2023, at LHU

This is an opportunity for researchers, lecturers, students,... to exchange academic knowledge, experiences as well as seek cooperation from businesses and the community.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector of LHU, a member of the Organizers said "SWPEA2023 wishes to create many cooperation opportunities between scientists, power electronics community and business partners”.

Up to now, SWPEA2023 has received great attention and support from businesses, including Vietnam Electricity – EVN (Diamond sponsor); Hioki Company, Mun Hean Vietnam Company, Pitek Engineering Co.,Ltd and Rigol Company (Gold sponsors)

Mr. Quynh also added, in addition to the leaders from southern universities that train Electrical - Electronics, Automation, 12 colleges and intermediate schools in Dong Nai, SWPEA2023 attracts the participation of large enterprises and state-owned agencies, including Vietnam Electricity; Dong Nai Power Company; Binh Duong Power Company; HCM City Power Company; Power Transmission Company; Dong Nai Department of Education and Training; Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology; Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade; Large enterprises producing electrical and electronic components and equipment in Dong Nai; Management Board of Industrial Parks in Dong Nai. 

"Papers (in English or Vietnamese) are required to be submitted to the conference through the EasyChair. Papers accepted to be presented at the workshop will be selected for publication in the proceedings with the ISBN index. Papers published in the proceedings must be presented by at least one author at the workshop", Mr. Quynh emphasizes.

The final submission will be on March, 30, 2023

As planned, the workshop will take place in 2 days. On the first day (April 21, 2023), participants of the workshop will listen to important reports at the plenary session and participate in discussions by sub-committees at Campus 1, LHU. On April 22, the attending delegates will visit some enterprises in Bien Hoa Industrial Park.
