On the evening of April 12, 2025, at Room B203, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Lac Hong University, successfully hosted a seminar titled “Effective Tax Management for Student Entrepreneurs – Personal Income Tax (PIT)”. The event attracted significant interest and enthusiastic participation from a large number of students.
The guest speaker, Huynh Vu Huyen Tran, Chief Accountant at Sieu Viet Human Resources Co., Ltd., delivered practical, relatable, and highly informative insights on managing personal income tax (PIT) in the context of entrepreneurship.
By combining theoretical knowledge with real-life scenarios, Ms. Tran helped students:
A highlight of the seminar was the lively Q&A session between students and the speaker. Many practical and thought-provoking questions were raised, such as: “Do small-scale online businesses need to pay PIT?”, “When is tax exemption applicable and how can it be proven?”, “How can students effectively manage their finances from an early stage?” All questions were thoroughly and clearly addressed by the speaker, fostering an open and engaging dialogue.
The seminar not only equipped students with specialized knowledge of taxation but also served as a source of inspiration, encouraging young individuals to pursue their entrepreneurial journeys in a lawful, structured, and sustainable manner.
