[FFA] Finance and Accounting students visited CSGT Vietnam Metal JSC for an internship

On the morning of May 9th, 2023, students majoring in Finance - Banking and Accounting had a study tour at the CSGT Vietnam Metal Joint Stock Company.

With the purpose of learning and researching about the production and business activities of the company, the study tour brought students a practical experience and helped them understand more about the field of the company's operations, accounting and finance activities currently being implemented.

CSGT Vietnam Metal Joint Stock Company is one of the leading companies in the field of production and business of steel sheet and coil products such as: hot-rolled steel, hot-rolled steel coated with oil and rust-proofed (PO), cold-rolled steel, hot-dip galvanized steel, electroplated steel, silicon steel, zinc-coated steel painted, as well as stainless steel and aluminum, and is also an important partner of major domestic banks. The company also has many experienced accounting and finance experts.

During the study tour, students were welcomed by experts from the company, who introduced the production process and business activities. Students were also instructed on how to read and analyze the company's financial reports, thereby making reasonable business decisions.

In particular, students also participated in practical activities such as checking inventory, reconciling accounting data, and performing payment procedures with business partners.

This study tour helped students have an overview of the finance-banking and accounting industry, as well as a clearer understanding of the financial management and operation of a large manufacturing company. This is a useful and necessary practical experience for students before graduating and starting their career journey.

With the success of this study tour, it is hoped that students will have more motivation and passion to study and develop themselves.
