Scholarships for freshmen

LHU each year receives nearly 2,500 students who will be trained in different levels. Besides teaching work, the University always ensures a good environment for the students. It also pays special attention to cultivating intellectuals through material and spiritual support by building funds for study encouragement. Every year, the University spends up to VND 3 billion on scholarships for newly admitted students and current students.

Below are kinds of scholarships for Newly Admitted Students 

1. 100% OFF SCHOOL FEES

* Valedictorian Scholarships

- Students with the highest entrance exam scores

* Science and Technology Scholarships 

- High school students who won First and Second prizes in Science and Technology competitions and excellent student contests at provincial or higher level.

2. 50% OFF SCHOOL FEES

* Science and Technology Scholarships 

- High school students who won Third prizes in Science and Technology competitions and excellent student contests at provincial or higher level.

* Studious Scholarships

- For two or more siblings studying at LHU

3. 30% OFF SCHOOL FEES

* Scholarships for Technical Female Students 

Female candidates applying for the following majors:

- Electrical and Electronics Engineering

- Mechatronics Engineering

- Automation and Control Engineering

- Information Engineering Technology

* Corporate Scholarships

Candidates applying for the following majors:

- Civil Construction Engineering

- Biotechnology

- Finance - Banking

* Youth Union/Class Officers 

Candidates are:

- 12-grade Secretaries of the Youth Union or Member of the Executive Committee of School Youth Union

- 12-grade Monitors or Vice-monitors

* Collaborative Scholarships

- The scholarships apply to students of high schools that are affiliated and co-educational with LHU

4. 20% OFF SCHOOL FEES

* Regional Scholarships

Candidates in economically disadvantaged districts and provinces:

- Districts: Xuan Loc, Tan Phu, Dinh Quan, Cam My in Dong Nai province

- Provinces: Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Quang Ngai, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An

* Golden Admission Day

- Candidates apply in the golden day

5. VND 1 MILLION DISCOUNT/A CANDIDATE

* LHU's Ambassadors

- Rewarding LHU's Ambassadors who introduce relatives and friends to apply to LHU
